Barbara Eni is an author and illustrator. She has dedicated almost three decades to writing children's stories in collaboration with several publishers and the government. She has illustrated several picture books, both written by herself and by others. Her books, "Seri Ayahku Hebat/My Great Father Series" (Kanisius Publisher) were exhibited at the Asian Festival of Children's Content (2017). The novels entitled "Misteri Kotak Mainan/The Mystery of the Toy Box" and "Bisikan Wayang Suket/Whisper of the Grass Puppet" (Kanisius Publisher) also had the opportunity to participate in the Istanbul Publishing Fellowship (2025). Her illustrations in the book "Main Apa Hari Ini?/What to Play Today?" were exhibited at Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava (2023) and the illustrations in the book "Mul dan Semangkuk Garam/Mul and a Bowl of Salt" at the Asian Festival of Children's Content (2024).

She lives in Sidoarjo, East Java, Indonesia, and keeps her ideas and imaginations in a secret cupboard in her house.
